Dollar trades at around 102 yen in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar changed hands at around 102 yen in early deals in Tokyo on Friday, principally in line with levels seen overnight in New York.

At the opening, the dollar was quoted at between 101.99-102.00 yen compared with 102.03-13 yen in New York and 102.44-46 yen at 5 p.m. on Thursday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1246-1247 dollars and 114.71-72 yen against 1.1237-1247 dollars and 114.76-86 yen in New York and 1.1224-1225 dollars and 114.98-115.02 yen in late Thursday afternoon trade in Tokyo. Endit
