2nd LD Writethru: Three arrested IS suspects have links with Paris attackers: German minister

Xinhua, September 13, 2016 Adjust font size:

Three IS suspects arrested by German police on Tuesday morning were brought to the country with the same help that last year's Paris attackers had got.

German Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere made the remarks on Tuesday, when being asked by press about the links between the three suspects and the Paris attackers last November.

Everything has suggested that they were brought to Europe by the same trafficking network, and their fake traveling documents were made at the same place, said de Maiziere.

He also said that the three suspects had been under surveillance in two refugee camps for months.

In the raids carried out by German police on Tuesday morning, six refugee camps located in the federal states of Schleswig-Holstein and Lower Saxony have been searched. Endit
