Two Houthi leaders killed in fresh Saudi-led airstrikes

Xinhua, September 13, 2016 Adjust font size:

The Saudi-led coalition has killed a number of Houthis leaders and officers by targeting a gathering near the Saudi-Yemeni border, Al Arabiya local news reported on Tuesday.

According the report, the airstrike targeted a cave near the border on Sunday evening, killing two main Houthis leaders and six officers, including the one who was in charge of the missiles.

The Yemeni-Saudi border has been among unsafe zones since the beginning of the war of the coalition against Houthis in support of the elected Yemeni government in March 2015.

The war seems with no end in sight as the failure of political parties to reach consensus. Endit
