British FTSE 100 decreases 1.12 pct on Monday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Monday decreases by 1.12 percent, or 76.05 points, to 6,700.90 points.

Share price of Shire increased by 1.00 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. AstraZeneca, Burberry Group, Carnival and Vodafone Group increased by 0.81 percent, 0.72 percent, 0.69 percent and 0.50 percent respectively.

Associated British Foods led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 10.80 percent, following by Marks & Spencer Group (5.06 percent), Lloyds Banking Group (3.95 percent), Royal Bank of Scotland Group (3.43 percent), Standard Life (3.33 percent). Endit
