Nepali PM to start India visit on Thursday: Foreign Ministry

Nepali Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal will be on a state visit to India from Sept. 15 to 18, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced here on Monday.

This will be the first overseas visit of the prime minister since he took office on Aug. 4.

Dahal will be visiting the southern neighbor at the invitation of his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi.

According to an itinerary released by the foreign ministry, Prime Minister Dahal will meet Indian President Pranab Mukherjee on Sept. 16.

Dahal will hold a bilateral meeting with his Indian counterpart Modi on the same day. Endit
