Four killed in Tanzanian bus crash

Four people died on the spot and four others were injured after a bus collided head-on with a lorry in Tanzania's lake zone region of Shinyanga, police confirmed on Sunday.

The incident occurred Sunday morning at Kolandoto area in Shinyanga Region. Murilo Jumanne, Shinyanga Regional Police Commander said the injured were rushed to Kolandoto hospital for further treatment.

He said those who died were in the lorry, as the bus driver was trying to overtake a vehicle, but failed and ended up ramming into the lorry which was coming from the opposite direction. Endit
