China's Yuan wins third straight judo gold in Rio

China's Yuan Yanping secured her third straight Paralympic judo +70kg title by defeating Uzbekistan's Khayitjon Alimova in the final here on Saturday.

Yuan won with an ippon and a yuko at Carioca Arena 3.

The 40-year-old, who was born with severe myopia, also won gold in the event at the Beijing 2008 and London 2012 Games.

In the bronze medal match, Turkey's Mesme Tasbag defeated Bulgaria's Arina Kachan. Endit
