Spanish stock market rises 0.95 pct, closes at 9,101 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.95 percent on Thursday to close at 9,101.10 points, up from the 9,015.30 points of Wednesday.

On Thursday's session, IAG shares led rises climbing 3.47 percent, followed by Banco Popular, Banco Santander, Caixabank, Banco Sabadell and Telefonica that rose 2.73 percent, 2.25 percent, 2.25 percent, 2.04 percent and 2 percent respectively.

On the other hand, ArcelorMittal shares led falls losing 1.33 percent, followed by Gamesa, DIA, Inditex, Iberdrola and Enagas that lost 0.90 percent, 0.74 percent, 0.66 percent, 0.52 percent and 0.48 percent, respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 105.30 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 0.9 percent, both showing no big differences when compared with Wednesday. Endit
