Fiat-Chrysler to recall 2,509 units of Renegade

Xinhua, September 8, 2016 Adjust font size:

Fiat-Chrysler will recall 2,509 Renegade in China starting from Sept. 23 over defective control modules, the quality supervisor said Thursday.

The affected vehicles were manufactured between June 5, 2016 and July 27, 2016, according to a statement the company filed to the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.

Due to manufacturing flaws during the circuit production phase, the control module may malfunction under certain conditions, which may cause the lights and horn not to work properly, according to the statement.

The company will replace the defective parts free of charge. Endi
