Top procuratorate investigates former provincial legislator

Zheng Yuzhuo, former vice head of the northeastern Provincial People's Congress Standing Committee of Liaoning, is under investigation on suspicion of accepting bribes and malpractice related to elections.

The Supreme People's Procuratorate announced on Thursday that it had issued "coercive measures" against Zheng, which may include summons by force, bail, residential surveillance, detention or arrest.

The investigation continues. Endi
