Dollar changes hands in upper 101 yen range in early trade in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 101 yen range zone in early deals in Tokyo on Thursday, largely unchanged from levels sees overnight in New York overnight.

As the market opened at 9:00 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 101.82-84 yen compared with 101.72-82 yen in New York and 101.54-56 yen at 5 p.m. in Tokyo on Wednesday.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1238-1238 dollars and 114.43-47 yen against 1.1234-1244 dollars and 114.31-41 yen in New York and 1.1241-1242 dollars and 114.14-18 yen in late Wednesday afternoon read in Tokyo. Endit
