Slovenia sends eight athletes to Rio Paralympics

Slovenia sent eight athletes to the Rio Paralympics on Wednesday to compete in swimming, shooting, cycling, long-distance running and kayaking.

Head of the Slovenian Paralympic Committee Damijan Lazar said, "Being qualified alone is a great sport achievement, while the most is expected from the shooters."

Slovenia had secured the only Paralympic medal in shooting at London 2012. Enditem
