China to hold biennial air show

Xinhua, September 7, 2016 Adjust font size:

China's biennial air show, which will showcase aircraft and feature trade talks and technological exchanges, will open Nov. 1 in the southern port city of Zhuhai, Guangdong Province.

Developments achieved by the Air Force will also be exhibited at the 11th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition, or simply the Airshow China, said China Air Force spokesperson Shen Jinke on Wednesday.

The Air Force will demonstrate around 900 pieces of active weaponry over the course of the six-day air show, including aircraft, radars and missiles, Shen added.

"Airshow China is a way for the Air Force to communicate and cooperate with air forces around the world," said Shen.

Airshow China is an international aerospace trade show endorsed by the central government. The show has been held in Zhuhai every two years since 1996. Endi
