Spanish stock market falls 0.60 pct, closes at 8,899 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 fell 0.60 percent on Tuesday to close at 8,899.50 points, down from the 8,953.30 points of Monday.

On Tuesday's session, Bankia shares led falls losing 3.06 percent. It was followed by Banco Popular, Bankinter, Banco Sabadell, Caixabank and Indra A that lost 2.67 percent, 2.49 percent, 2.42 percent, 1.96 percent and 1.86 percent, respectively.

On the other hand, IAG shares led rises climbing 1.84 percent, followed by AENA, Ferrovial, Tecnicas Reunidas, REC and Grifols that rose 1.08 percent, 0.82 percent, 0.46 percent, 0.40 percent and 0.36 percent, respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 104.10 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 0.9 percent, both showing no big differences when compared with that of Monday. Endit
