Bad Axe Throwing to open 1st U.S. outlet in Chicago

Xinhua, September 5, 2016 Adjust font size:

Chicagoans will have a new venue to go and shed their energy.

Canadian Bad Axe Throwing Company is opening its first outlet in the United States in downtown Chicago, also the first outside Canada. And the venue will officially open on Sept. 9, by appointment only.

Customers need to pay 45.25 U.S. dollars plus tax per person for three hours' fun. Coaches are available to give one-on-one lesson on how to throw an axe at a wooden target while staying safe.

There is no age limit for the game. Everyone can join the game except the drunk. Hard liquor is also not allowed at the venue.

Axes will be provided, and customers are not allowed to bring in their own axes.

Founded in 2014, Bad Axe Throwing has opened 10 outlets in Canada. No one has been injured at Bad Axe's existing indoor throwing facilities, said Jesse Gutzman, chief axe thrower at the company.

It is reported that Bad Axe Throwing has long-term plans to open more outlets in Chicago. Endit
