Int'l food expo to be held in southern Vietnam

An international food exhibition, the 2016 Vietnam Foodexpo, will be held in Ho Chi Minh City from Nov. 16-19, organizers said Saturday.

Over 300 Vietnamese and foreign companies have so far registered to showcase their products, mainly fruits, veggies, seafood, drinks, coffee, tea, foodstuffs, spices and food processing machines, at more than 500 booths at the four-day expo, said the Trade Promotion Agency under the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade.

During the Foodexpo, there will be a conference on international food industry, a seminar on promoting investment in food processing industry, a food processing technology exhibition, and an international cooking contest. Enditem
