Belarus, Slovenia score wins in 2018 Winter Olympics ice hockey qualifiers

Belarus ice-hockey team won a second victory, beating Poland 5-3 in the 2018 Winter Olympics ice hockey qualifiers here on Friday.

In the other qualifying match of the European Zone Group D, Slovenia defeated Denmark 3-0 to also notch up their second victory.

Slovenia and Belarus both have 6 points on the group standings with Poland and Denmark conceding to two straight losses respectively.

The Group D matches on Sunday will feature Belarus vs Slovenia and Poland vs Denmark. The winner between Belarus and Slovenia will gain the ticket to the 2018 Winter Olympics. Endit
