First post-ban Russian charter flight arrives at Turkey's Antalya

Xinhua, September 3, 2016 Adjust font size:

The first Russian charter flight arrived at Antalya, Turkey late Friday after the charter ban lifted by Moscow, Anadolu Agency reported.

A Royal Airlines Flight Boeing 767 with some 309 Russian passengers from Moscow landed at Antalya International Airport on Friday night.

The Russian government signed on Aug.28 a decree lifting the restrictions on charter flights to Turkey after an eight-month ban introduced due to tensions between the two countries arising from the downing of a Russian warplane by Ankara in Nov. 2015. Endit
