Turkey's Culture and Tourism Minister Nabi Avci announced Thursday that a Turkish-Russian university is planned to be established in the southern Turkish province of Antalya, local Yeni Safak reported.

Speaking at the Turkish-Russian media forum organized in Antalya, Avci said a Russian language business high-school may also be established to support Russian education.

Turkey's Economy Minister Zeybekci said a fund is to be launched, aiming at realizing the projects that both two countries approved.

"We are aiming at carrying out projects, particularly in Syria and Iraq, along with Africa, in the reconstruction sector," Zeybekci said.

The minister also said the fund may be used for the establishment of the Akkuyu nuclear power plant.

The Akkuyu nuclear power plant is the first of its kind Turkey currently plans to build in the southern province of Mersin along with the Russian state-owned nuclear energy company Rosatom. Endit
