Spanish stock market rises 0.53 pct, closes at 8,762 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.53 percent on Thursday to close at 8,762.80 points, up from the 8,716.80 points of Wednesday.

On Thursday session, Bankia shares led rises climbing 3.57 percent, followed by Gas Natural, IAG, Banco Sabadell, ACS and Cellnex that rose 3.05 percent, 2.73 percent, 1.89 percent, 1.79 percent and 1.63 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Grifols shares led falls losing 1.34 percent, followed by Endesa, Viscofan, Mapfre, Tecnicas Reunidas and Enagas that lost 0.60 percent, 0.30 percent, 0.29 percent, 0.11 percent and 0.09 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 112 points, up from the 107.80 points of Wednesday, and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.05 percent, showing no big differences when being compared with Wednesday closing time. Endit
