Xinhua, August 31, 2016 Adjust font size:

Some 6.33 million people over the age of 20 in Taiwan are living with their parents, accounting for 33.53 percent of the adult population, statistics from the island's internal affairs department showed Wednesday.

Among the 6.33 million living with their parents, about 1.06 million were between 35 and 54 and married, according to the department.

The percentage of married people between 35 and 54 living with their parents is smaller in major cities, including Taipei, Taichung and Kaohsiung, than in southern counties, according to the department. Endi
