Belarus president guarantees most favorable business conditions for Chinese companies

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said here on Monday to guarantee the most favorable business conditions for Chinese companies, the press-service of Belarusian president said.

He made the remarks while meeting a delegation of central China's Hunan province headed by Hu Henghua, the mayor of Changsha, the capital of Hunan, and Zoomlion President Zhan Chunxin.

These talks are expected to lay the foundation for the brand-new stage in the China-Belarus partnership and the implementation of large-scale investment projects, the president said.

He noted Belarus and China have a sincere friendship and fruitful cooperation in various fields.

"For 25 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Belarus and China, the two countries have gone a long way towards each other. There are no closed topics between us. We have become strategic partners and continue to move forward," said Lukashenko.

The president also said that he knew the Chinese partners had some proposals to expand bilateral cooperation and offered to discuss them and made necessary decisions.

The Chinese side praised good prospects for the development of cooperation and expressed readiness to invest in Belarus. MAZ, MTZ, Gomselmash, Strommashina are among the priority partners. The two sides also consider the possibility to set up a joint engineering center. Endit
