EU-China Friendship Group visits Tibet

The EU-China Friendship Group in the European Parliament visited Tibet from Wednesday to Friday at the invitation of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries.

The group visited Norbulingka, Tibet Museum, the Potala Palace, the Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, Tibetan Thangka Art Academy and Tibet University.

Nirj Deva, chairman of the group, said that during the visit, they saw the efforts the regional government has made to protect the local culture, art and history.

He added that he would tell the European countries what he saw in Tibet. Endi
