Oil prices keep rising amid Yellen speech

Oil prices ended mildly higher Friday as investors digested U.S. Federal Reserve's Chair Janet Yellen's comments on the country's economy.

The West Texas Intermediate for October delivery increased 0.31 U.S. dollar to settle at 47.64 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, while Brent crude for October delivery added 0.25 dollar to close at 49.92 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange. Enditem
