Dollar in mid-100 yen range in early trade in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the mid-100 yen range in early deals on Friday morning in Tokyo, in line with levels seen overnight in New York.

As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 100.54-55 yen compared with 100.47-57 yen in New York and 100.39-42 yen at 5 p.m. on Thursday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1286-1287 dollars and 113.48-52 yen against 1.1284-1294 dollars and 113.39-49 yen in New York and 1.1276-1279 dollars and 113.22-26 yen late Thursday afternoon in Tokyo. Endit
