Togo to expedite investment request approvals

Xinhua, August 26, 2016 Adjust font size:

Togo has decided to operationalize the National Agency for Investment Promotion and Free Zone (API-ZF) to deal with outstanding applications for investment in the country.

An official release that reached Xinhua on Thursday reported the council of ministers, on Wednesday, examined the matter and adopted a decree to that effect.

The decree is purposed, it explained, to amend the establishing provisions of the agency and to reorganize its supervisory and administration boards, and ensure the agency's higher efficiency.

According to the Togolese government, making the API-ZF operational will enhance domestic and foreign investments in all sector activities in the country.

"This will enable employment and wealth creation to the benefit of the populations", the release said. Endit
