China to boost consumer goods quality: premier

China will make more efforts to elevate the quality of consumer goods and promote the "Made in China" brand, by developing its medium and high-end sectors to meet growing demand, Premier Li Keqiang said Wednesday.

A series of compulsory standards will be introduced to achieve this, Li said at a State Council executive meeting. Endi
