Road accident kills 6 in Guinea capital

Xinhua, August 22, 2016 Adjust font size:

A collision between two vehicles left six people dead in Conakry, the Guinean capital, on Sunday morning, hospital sources said.

An unconfirmed number of people were also injured in the accident in the Miniere suburban area.

The victims were onboard a public transport vehicle carrying fishmongers to the Boulbinet fish market, eyewitnesses told Xinhua.

The injured were said to have been in the other vehicle, a Nissan vehicle carrying young people who had come out of a night club.

Preliminary investigations have shown that speeding might be the cause of the accident, security sources said. Endit
