Bolomboy joins Utah Jazz

The Utah Jazz announced on Friday that the team has signed 2016 second-round pick forward/center Joel Bolomboy.

Bolomboy averaged 17.1 points on 57.3 percent shooting and grabbed 12.6 rebounds (third in the nation) during his senior year with Weber State University, setting a school single-season record by tallying 415 total rebounds.

Bolomboy finished his four-year career as the all-time leader in rebounds for Weber State as well as the Big Sky Conference.

Born in Ukraine, the 22-year-old Bolomboy played high school basketball at Keller Central in Fort Worth, Texas.
