Reigning champion Juve aim high in new season

Xinhua, August 19, 2016 Adjust font size:

Reigning champion Juventus aim high in new season, as they signed several new players this summer in order to conquer Europe after five years of domestic domination.

Juve will start to bid a record sixth consecutive Serie A title on Saturday by facing fifth-placed Fiorentina at home, which will provide a first and good test for a new Juve.

Juve manager Massimiliano Allegri reshuffled his squad with fund from selling French midfielder Paul Pogba to Manchester United at a record 105 million euros.

Striker Gonzalo Higuain, midfielder Miralem Pjanic, defender Mehdi Benatia and Brazilian wing-back Dani Alves all are new faces in Juve. Enditem
