PSV take over Ramselaar from FC Utrecht

Xinhua, August 18, 2016 Adjust font size:

PSV attracted Bart Ramselaar from FC Utrecht, the reigning Dutch champions announced on Thursday.

The 20-year-old midfielder signed a contract for five years and PSV will pay FC Utrecht around 4.7 million euros, excluding bonuses.

Ramselaar debuted for FC Utrecht in March 2015 and has now played 41 matches in the Eredivisie, in which he scored 6 times. The Dutch youth international received his first call-up for the Dutch national team in May this year, but he had to withdraw due to an injury.

PSV will probably not be finished yet on the transfer market, which runs until the end of August. The Dutch top club need a large squad in trying to prolong the Dutch league title and to get as far as possible in the Champions League this season. Endit
