Mahrez signs new four-year contract with Leicester

Premier League reigning champions Leicester City confirmed on Wednesday the club has signed a new four-year contract with Riyad Mahrez, ending speculation about the star winger's immediate future.

"Leicester City Football Club is delighted to announce that Riyad Mahrez has signed a new contract, committing his future to the Foxes until June, 2020," said a statement issued by the club on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old Algeria international contributed 17 goals and another 11 assists in Leicester's bid for 2015/16 title. He was also named Player of the Year by England's Professional Footballers' Association. Enditem
