Nepalese Deputy Prime Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara on Monday left for China for a two-day visit as the special envoy of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
"My visit is aimed at strengthening the bilateral relationship with northern neighbor China after the formation of the new government. Nepal expects goodwill and support from China in socio-economic development," the deputy prime minister, who is the in-charge of finance in the government, told reporters at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. MEXICO CITY -- China is expected to push for the adoption of efficient policies to boost global economic growth at the upcoming G20 summit, a veteran Mexican diplomat has said.
"It is significant that a country committed to economic growth policies, in contrast with those favoring stabilization policies, is presiding the G20," Jorge Eduardo Navarrete, former Mexican ambassador to China and the United Nations, said in a recent interview with Xinhua.

WASHINGTON -- China's authorities have largely succeeded in its objective of revamping the foreign exchange mechanism to make the currency renminbi (RMB) more market-oriented and relative stable to a basket of currencies over the past year, thanks to improved policy communication, U.S. experts have said.
