Morocco's Wydad Casablanca qualified late on Sunday for the CAF Champions League semi-finals after a 2-1 win against Cote d'Ivoire ASEC Mimosas.

In the Moroccan city of Rabat, Abdeladim Khadrouf and Patrice Ondama scored for Wydad Casablanca in the 59th and 90th minute, while Krahire Zakri scored ASEC's sole goal in the 69th minute.

After this win, Moroccans boosted their lead with 10 points on the top spot, followed by the Zambian team of Zesco United at 8 points.

Al Ahly moved to the third place on 5 points, whereas ASEC lost all hope to qualify with 4 points in the fourth spot.
