Spanish stock market falls 0.04 pct, closes at 8,716 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 fell 0.04 percent on Friday to close at 8,716.40 points, down from the 8,719.50 points of Thursday.

Share values were up 2 percent in the week as a whole with Spain's risk premium falling from the 105.70 points of Monday to the 103.70 points of Friday.

Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 0.9 percent, showing no differences when compared with the beginning of the week.

On Friday session, ArcelorMittal shares led falls losing 1.46 percent, followed by Melia, Acerinox, Bankia, BBVA and Bankinter that lost 1.25 percent, 1.22 percent, 0.84 percent, 0.62 percent and 0.58 percent respectively.

On the other hand, IAG shares led rises climbing 2.21 percent, followed by Tecnicas Reunidas, Merlin, Abertis A, Banco Popular and Acciona that rose 1.33 percent, 1.26 percent, 1.01 percent, 0.97 percent and 0.93 percent respectively. Endit
