The couple were badly injured on their heads and legs in the robbery, said Yim Saran, police chief of Por Senchey district.
He said the incident occurred at 2:20 a.m. after midnight at a factory they worked for when a group of possible six robbers climbed the factory's fence into their bedroom in an attempt to steal valuable assets.
"The robbers attacked the couple when they woke up and saw them stealing their belongings," he told Xinhua.
