Japanese Kobayashi joins Dutch club Heerenveen

Jubilo Iwata midfielder Yuki Kobayashi, 24, signs a three-year contract with Dutch club Heerenveen, the J-League side said on Friday.

Kobayashi played for Tokyo Verdy after coming through the youth ranks and moved to Iwata during the 2012 season.

Kobayashi, who was called the successor of Keisuke Honda in AC Milan, has made a total of 35 appearances in the top flight and 138 in the second tier. Endit
