1 killed and 20 injured as two bombs explode in Hua Hin of Thailand

BANGKOK, Aug. 12 (Xinhua) - Local police confirmed that a Thai was killed and 20 people, including foreign tourists, have been injured after two bombs exploded in Hua Hin just before midnight, Thai media reported.

Thai media Thairath said the police confirmed the lasted number of casualties at 00:57 local time Friday, the police also said they have already controlled the situation.

All injured people are being treated at local hospitals.

The first bomb exploded in front of a beer bar at about 22:15 local time on Thursday and casued no injuries while the second exploded an hour later about 100 meters away from the first explosion and caused several injuries, including foreign tourists, Thairath reported.

Hua Hin, about 200km south to the capital Bangkok, is a famous tourist city in Thailand. Enditem
