Spanish stock market rises 0.70 pct, closes at 8,719 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.70 percent on Thursday to close at 8,719.50 points, up from the 8,658.90 points of Wednesday.

On Thursday session, Gas Natural shares led rises climbing 1.64 percent, followed by Cellnex, Repsol, ACS, Iberdrola and Ferrovial that rose 1.58 percent, 1.49 percent, 1.38 percent, 1.20 percent and 1.10 percent respectively.

On the other hand, IAG shares led falls losing 1.32 percent, followed by Banco Popular, ArcelorMittal, Merlin and Mapfre that lost 0.48 percent, 0.32 percent, 0.15 percent and 0.08 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 102.30 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 0.9 percent, both showing no big differences when compared with Wednesday closing time. Endit
