U.S. dollar drops ahead of Yellen speech

The U.S. dollar fell against other major currencies on Wednesday, as investors awaited a speech by U.S. Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen later this month.

In late New York trading, the euro rose to 1.1175 dollars from 1.1111 dollars in the previous session, while the dollar bought 101.28 Japanese yen, lower than 101.81 yen of the previous session. Enditem
