Vietnam's HCM City to build track cycling facility

Xinhua, August 10, 2016 Adjust font size:

Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City will pour 200 million US dollars into developing a track cycling facility and a 9,000-seat stand, the municipal authorities said Wednesday.

The track is 250 meters long, meeting the Olympic standards.

It will be built at the Rach Chiec national sports complex in District 2, said the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee. It will be constructed by a private company.

Besides track cycling events, the facility can act as a venue for other sports such as badminton, table tennis and basketball, and cultural events. Enditem
