Chinese Taipei strongwoman banned on eve of competition for doping

Weightlifter Lin Tzu-chi has been banned by the Chinese Taipei team from competing in the Rio Games after she failed a doping test, according to a report on Tuesday.

Title favorite Lin was missing from the women's 63kg final Tuesday as the world record holder was given a provisional ban on the eve of the competition here for abnormality in her sample, local media said. Endit
