UAE condemns suicide bombing targeting Pakistani hospital

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Foreign Ministry condemned on Tuesday a suicide bombing that targeted a hospital in Pakistan, Emirati state news agency WAM reported.
The suicide blast ripped through a emergency ward of a hospital in Pakistan's southerwestern Quetta city on Monday morning, killing at least 93 and injuring 56 others, local media and officials said.
The ministry reaffirmed the Gulf state's "firm stance denouncing terrorism in all its forms and manifestations" in a statement.
It also highlighted the UAE's solidarity with Pakistan in the country's efforts to fight terrorism.
In addition, the statement called for the international community to find "radical solutions" to eradicate "serious scourge of terrorism."
About 1.5 million Pakistani nationals, making up 14 percent of the UAE's total population, live in the Gulf Arab state, according to local daily newspaper Gulf news. Endit
