Over 300 firms to join int'l feed, livestock, meat industry show in Vietnam

Over 300 firms from 30 countries and regions are expected to join Vietnam's International Feed, Livestock and Meat Industry Show (Vietstock 2016), said the organizer on Tuesday.

The event will be held on Oct. 19-21 under the theme of "Enhancing Food Safety for Domestic and Export Markets," said Vietnam's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development's Department of Livestock Production at a press conference here on Tuesday.

In the framework of Vietstock 2016 to be held in Vietnam's southern Ho Chi Minh City, two events VietFeed and VietMeat will take place where new animal feed products were launched and promoted, as well as the needs of meat industry from production, processing, packaging to plate will be focused on, said Vietstock's website.
