Australian woman faces rape charge of 9-year-old boy

A West Australian woman has been charged with raping a nine-year-old boy between October and November last year, local media reported on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old was arrested following an investigation by Perth Child Abuse Squad detectives.

She has been charged with one count of sexual penetration of a child under 13, and one count of threats to injure, endanger or harm a person.

Police alleged that the boy was known to the woman.

The woman is due to appear in a Perth Court on Aug. 9 to face those charges. Enditem
