Colombian Mosquera wins men's 62kg weightlifting gold at Rio Olympics

Oscar Albeiro Figueroa Mosquera of Colombia won the men' s 62kg weightlifting gold medal at the Rio Olympic Games on Monday.

Mosquera, silver medalist at the London Olympics, snatched 142kg and jerked up 176kg for a winning total of 318kg for the top honor.

Eko Yuli Irawan of Indonesia got the silver medal with a total of 312kg and Farkhad Kharki of Kazakhstan took the bronze in 305kg.

World record holder Chen Lijun of China quit in the snatch due to leg cramp. Enditem
