Myanmar state counselor, military chief have talks on domestic affairs

Myanmar State Counselor Aung San Suu Kyi met Monday with Commander-in-Chief of Defense Services Sen-Gen Min Aung Hlaing and the pair had discussions on some issues related to domestic affairs, according to an announcement of the State Counselor's office.

Their meeting focused on ceasefire in the country's northern Kachin state and Shan state, national reconciliation and domestic peace, rule of law and stability.

Moreover, they touched on the holding of the upcoming 21st Century Panglong Ethnic Conference.

Meanwhile, the state counselor on Monday announced August 31 for holding the 21st Century Panglong Ethnic Conference in Nay Pyi Taw. Endit
