Urgent: Two Belgian police wounded by man shouting " Allahu Akbar "

Two policemen were wounded by machetes Saturday afternoon in the center of Charleroi by an individual shouting " Allahu Akbar ," according to media reports.

The incident occurred near the Charleroi police station. The perpetrator was shot by a third officer, according to Belgian newspaper Le Soir.

A large security perimeter was erected around the boulevard Pierre Mainz. Endit
