IGAD leaders meet in Ethiopia on S. Sudan's situation

Heads of States of the East African bloc, the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), and the African Union (AU) ad-hoc Committee on South Sudan will convene a summit on Friday's afternoon in Addis Ababa to deliberate on the situation in South Sudan.

The meeting will be chaired by Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn and current chairperson of IGAD, with the attendance of Heads of State from the region and representatives from the UN, African Union, and IGAD, said a statement from IGAD Friday. Endit
