Namibia to showcase progress on solar projects

Namibia will host its first ever Solar for Development International Exhibition and Conference from October 13 to 14 in the capital Windhoek.

The event will showcase existing practical solar projects in Namibia as well as the utilisation of solar for national development and effective service delivery.

Countries that include Germany, Zambia and South Africa are expected to attend the event.

David Jarrett, Director, RDJ Consulting Services, the event host, said that the event aims to showcase progress made in the area of service delivery using solar technologies.

According to him, the event will also provide a networking opportunity to debate technical, policy and financing issues. Enditem
